rod42: Old Friends by John Weiss “That’s my old Black Lab Brant with my neighbor Grady. At the time I painted this memory piece, Grady was a very wise old gentleman of 91 and Brant was 12. My wish was to capture these dear old friends as a tribute. Winter seemed the perfect atmosphere, as both were in the winters of their lives. This serves as a nice reminder that even though life can be rough on anybody, an old friend will always see you through.” -John Weiss
